The Master of Science in Family Therapy program has three goals for each student:
- To demonstrate mastery of the theories and conceptual approaches that support the marriage and family therapy profession.
- To demonstrate an understanding of the research process and its role in guiding intentional clinical practice and continued professional learning.
- To demonstrate the ability to conduct effective clinical practice with professionalism and ethical care for individuals, couples, and families.
CURRICULUM
Courses in the Master of Science in Family Therapy program comply with COAMFTE academic requirements. There are four categories of courses within the curriculum:
