Description
This 52-hour program provides academic and clinical training in the professional discipline of marriage and family therapy. The program meets the education requirements for licensure in Kansas and Missouri for practitioners seeking the designation of licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT). The program is taught by full-time Ph.D.-level faculty members committed to the profession and practice of marriage and family therapy and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).

COAMFTE accreditation standards provide students with the strongest master's-level clinical training requirements of any mental health degree. Students spend 15 months in clinical practice under faculty supervision.
