BMGT375 Management and Organizational Behavior
Organized to provide an understanding of the discipline of organizational behavior in full awareness of its practical value and importance to managers. The students receive an introduction to organizational behavior with a strong managerial emphasis and a commitment to practical application by exploring the modern business climate. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

BMGT380 Small Business Management
This course emphasizes fundamental factors concerned with the establishment and competent operation of small business, including financing and source of funds; organizing the business and establishment of policies; factors in business success; and the future outlook of small business. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

BMGT385 Entrepreneurial Accounting and Venture Finance
Uses accounting information and analytical thinking in business decisions including business planning, operating, reporting, and evaluating in an entrepreneurial environment. Considers the accounting system and the use of the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows in making business decisions. Integrates selected financial and managerial accounting topics. 3 credit hours; 5 week module (Prerequisite: junior level or higher.)

BMGT390 Accounting Information for the Corporate Manager
This course considers accounting information and analytical thinking relating to business decisions corporate managers encounter. Topics such as the planning, managing, evaluating operations; liquidity issues; capital expenditures; long-term financing in the corporate environment. Integrates selected financial and managerial accounting topics applicable to corporate operations. 3 credit hours; 5 week module (Prerequisite: Entrepreneurial Accounting and Venture Finance)

BMGT395 Applied Topics in Business Planning
This course is based on an understanding of the functional areas of business and applies the tools and analytical techniques of analysis in the development of a business plan in the entrepreneurial process. The business plan should be comprehensive enough to give a potential investor a complete understanding of the venture. (This course is offered online and runs concurrently with the 4 modules that follow it). 2 credit hours

BMGT410 Strategic Management
A study of strategic management process, its components, and its importance in a dynamic business setting. Includes mission and goal selection; internal and external environmental analysis; strategy formulation, selection, and implementation; organizational structure; and control systems. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

MARK345 Essentials of Marketing
Focuses on gaining an understanding of the marketing concept and its acceptance in business in meeting customer needs and wants. Structured analysis is used in considering environmental factors which impact markets and in formulating appropriate strategies using the four strategic elements of marketing. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

MGMT310 Principles of Information Systems
An introduction to information systems and office automation within the business environment. Topics include systems analysis, design integration, and management of information systems. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

MGMT315 Data Development and Analysis
This course surveys descriptive statistics with emphasis on practical applications of statistical analysis. It includes an examination of the role of statistics in research, statistical terminology, the appropriate use of descriptive and statistical probability techniques, and the interpretation of statistical finding in business and business research. It is designed to introduce management students - from a wide variety of backgrounds - to the fundamental techniques of using data and management science tools and models to think structurally about decision problems, make more informed management decisions, and ultimately enhance decision making skills. 3 credit hours; 8 week module

MGMT325 Applied Economics for Managers
A course designed for managers working in todayƕs business environment. Topics include supply and demand, theory of the firm, market structures, macroeconomic analysis, international economics, and strategic decision-making. Current issues facing businesses are examined. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

MGMT335 Business Law
Business law is considered within the varied framework of civil law relating to the political, economic, historical and moral issues that shape its development. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

CAPS302 Analysis, Principles and Skills of Adult Learning
The gateway course for students entering degree completion programs that provides tools for success in adult learning. Adult learning theory and practices will be examined with emphasis on the Kolb model. Students will examine ways in which they learn other than formal classroom settings. Participants will explore issues such as: time management, expectations of students and instructors, critical thinking skills. This course is to be required for all degree completion programs. 1 credit hour; 3 week module

CAPS303 Conflict Resolution and Communication in the Professional Environment
This course applies the theories and models of communication and negotiation principles to real-life social and business communication problems. Special emphasis is placed on hands-on opportunities for students to learn by doing. 3 credit hours; 5 week module

CAPS415 Ethics in Professional Life
This course will introduce students to professional ethics through the consideration of ethical theory, current issues and practices in business, and professional codes and standards. Ethical issues within a business organization and those raised by the impact of business on the community will be considered with attention given to contemporary issues including the impact of technology on business and society and the conduct of business in a diverse society. Students will develop and apply their own code of professional ethics. 3 credit hours; 6 week module

CAPS430 The Search for Meaning in a Changing World
An integrated humanities overview: the interrelations of history, art, literature, music and philosophy (not dealt with as isolated disciplines). Each area of the course begins with discussion of historical backgrounds and philosophical trends, and further discussion of the art, literature and music that reflects those backgrounds and trends. 3 credit hours; 6 week module
